Floatworks Sensory Deprivation Pod
Thoughts: I was extremely sceptical about this one. But on reflection, I think this may be the best thing I’ve done so far this year. The water is so salty, it supports your weight without having to touch the base of the pod. And after five minutes in the pod, the music and lights switch off and you’re left there, floating in the pitch black for an hour. I panicked at first, as I couldn’t find the door latch. But after I’d found it and reset, I had a rejuvenating and relaxing experience that was all over way too soon.

Oco Eye Test
Thoughts: Some of these challenges aren’t going to be particularly faddy – just genuine health checks and treatments that I really need to get done now I’m thirty. This is one of them. I haven’t had a check in about eight years. It seemed more thorough than the sight checks I had back hen, but there wasn’t anything extreme or radically different about it. No glasses required. Phew.

Feet Pray Love – Reflexology
Thoughts: A present from Wist. I loved this. So much. Like a massage, but just for your feet. I’m not too sure to what extent I believe in the healing powers that the treatment promises. But it was a great experience, and Rosanna the reflexologist is definitely worth a shout if you’re interested in trying it.
